New Bars In Nottingham

It’s a great time to visit Nottingham if you enjoy a bit of a drink and a nibble, in the past few months there has been various new bars opening around the city. From ale houses to stylish clubs there is something for everyone and now even more reasons to visit the city.

Below is a list of the latest bars to open in Nottingham, each with a small description and location information.

Last Chance Saloon Bar

Located in an underground venue, the Last Chance Saloon is bringing the Wild West to the city. They specialise in whiskey and stock over 80 varieties including 50 bourbons as well as serving some quirky food. You can chow down on some “bacon bad popcorn” or try the “Buffalo the Vampire Slayer wings” to name a couple.

Purecraft Bar and Kitchen

The former HSBC building in St Peter's Gate is the location for this bar and kitchen.

Especially good for the beer lover, with eight hand pumps for cask-condition ales and ten taps for a range of craft beers, oh and the 60 different bottled beers you are definitely spoiled for choice.

Head Chef Andrew Smith also offers a great menu that almost every item has a recommended accompanying drink, even the sticky toffee pudding.

Retro Rooms (Cookie Club)

Not so new, as refurnished – formerly the Cookie Club the Retro Rooms now features a new cinema like vendor reception, booths re-decorated in funky fabric and a list of new cocktails. As well as all pumping those 90’s tunes we all love.

Ludorati Café Bar

Serving food and drink throughout the day this new ‘boardgame cafe’ is ideal for anyone who would like a game of monopoly, scrabble or even something a little different; Ludorati has over 750 games for you to have a go at.

A room with a brew

This is a new micro pub that has been opened up on Derby Road. Serving 10 varieties of locally brewed ale, it offers a quite drinking experience but for those who like something a bit more local.
